Every painting in The Peace She Promised tells a story of its own.
As I wrote this memoir, I wanted readers to experience not only the words, but also the emotions woven into each chapter.
These original paintings were lovingly created by my cousin, Rani, a gifted artist whose journey has been intertwined with my family for decades. Together, her artwork and my words create a reading experience where stories are not only read – they are seen, felt and remembered.
